Diversitea: Women in the Military

In honor of Women’s History Month, the Veterans Outreach Office and the Women’s Center invite you to a panel highlighting the experiences of currently serving and Veteran women in the US Armed Forces from our community, as well as military dependents. This wide-ranging conversation will delve into issues such as transitioning from service to civilian life (particularly on college campuses), reflections on successes and challenges of service, and what motivated them to serve our country.
Panelists:
Chief Master Sergeant Brandi Grossman is the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 119th Security Forces Squadron and began her military career with the North Dakota Air National Guard/US Air Force in 2003.
Senior Master Sergeant Samantha Kolness is the Inspector General Superintendent for the 119th Wing and began her military career with the North Dakota Air National Guard/US Air Force in 1996.
Elinormarie (Elie) Morrissy is the OAS, Center for Global Engagement. She was in the US Air Force (1974-1978) and US Army Reserve (1982-1990) Veteran and was in Civil Service as an Air Traffic Controller with the Federal Aviation Administration from 1980-2005.
Wending Gibson is an Interlibrary Loan Technician and an MSUM Alumni. She is a US Army Veteran that served from 1985-1994.
Rachel Gladue is an Elementary Special Education Teacher with Moorhead Public Schools and a Key Spouse for the 119th Security Forces Squadron. She is also a former MSUM student.
