Welcome to Workday, Passport #1
The Passport to Workday will be a key onboarding resource to prepare and inform future Workday users.
Workday is the cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool offering unified finance, procurement, human resources, student, and staff lifecycle management. Its implementation at Minnesota State is one component of the NextGen Project. Workday enables standardization and streamlining of business processes system-wide, tailored to meet the unique present and future needs of Minnesota State.
All MSUM employees will use at least some of the resources in Workday. The Passport to Workday is a specifically crafted guide to provide you with resources and information to successfully use Workday.
Passport #1 is an onboarding guide
You can’t access Workday now, but upon Go-Live, you will log into Microsoft Office 365 to locate the Workday App. To access Microsoft 365, you’ll go to cloud.microsoft.com. A link to Workday will also be found on the Employee Home page. You’ll use your login credentials are starid@minnstate.edu and your STAR ID password. Passport #1:
- provides essential knowledge provides essential knowledge and important resources for a successful transition to Workday,
- offers step-by-step instructions for common Workday tasks, anticipating user concerns, and building confidence, and
- furnishes users with details on where and how they can access support, both at go-live and beyond
