Julie Maahs shares how to be ready for your career
It is one thing to learn, research and network as a college student. It is another thing to articulate the skills you gain throughout the college experience.
Julie Maahs, assistant director for career readiness, can help you see how the skills you’re developing relate to what you want to do in the future.
Meet with a CDC career coach for one-on-one coaching and try out the ROAR Workbook, a step-by-step process for realizing where and how you developed career-readiness skills and how you can communicate them.
“It’s so rewarding to see students switch from second-guessing themselves to feeling confident about where they’re going and what they bring to the table,” Maahs says.
