MSUM Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo present Nov. 14 concert

Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo will present a concert on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts Gaede Stage.

Tom Strait, principal trumpet with the Fargo Moorhead Symphony Orchestra and a Yamaha performing artist, directs MSUM’s Jazz Ensembles.

Guest soloists include Kenyon Williams, MSUM director of percussion studies and vocalist Anna Beauchamp, a senior Commercial Music major. 

The concert will feature compositions and arrangements by a variety of artists, including Pat Metheny, Gordon Goodwin, John Clayton, and Steely Dan.

Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the Center for the Arts box office.
