Computer Lab Times for Required Annual Training
Every year for the required annual training, HR sets aside time in an available computer room for employees to use if they need access to a computer or a quiet place to get the training completed by the deadline. This year we have reserved LI 208, a computer classroom in the library for the following dates and times:
Computer Room Availability – Library (LI) 208
- October 11, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- October 20, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- October 23, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- November 7, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- November 15, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
- November 22, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
All employees are expected to complete the training by: November 24, 2023. Please complete all modules assigned during scheduled work hours.
To access your assigned training:
Log in to the State of Minnesota Self Service Portal Sign-in using your eight-digit Employee State ID Number and password (the ID number you use for paycheck and insurance information).
- Choose the Learning Management tile.
- Choose the My Learning tile.
- Choose the Required Annual Compliance Training tile.
- You will be presented with a screen to Launch and complete the required training modules.
After launching a module, watch for pop-up blockers. It is okay to allow all pop-ups from this site.
The modules will say ‘not enrolled’ under each title. This status will change to ‘enrolled’ after you Launch each module.
Some users are experiencing ‘spinning’ issues when they use Firefox. try updating your browser, or logging in using Safari, Chrome or Edge instead – usually that will solve the spinning issue. Open this

Note that many courses have two options.
Returning Employees who have viewed the longer course within the past 3 years, may choose the first option (shorter Annual Review version).
New Employees, or employees who have not viewed the full-length course within the past 3 years, should choose the second option (longer New Employee version).
