Scholarship funds available for accelerated graduate programs
MSUM juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing a master’s degree while still enrolled as an undergraduate may be able to take their first graduate-level course tuition-free in Spring or Summer 2024.
MSUM offers several accelerated programs that allow students to earn a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in only 5 years. Students typically begin taking graduate coursework their junior or senior year.
MSUM’s accelerated graduate programs include a Master of Business Administration (MBA); Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA); Master of Science in Athletic Training (beginning Summer 2024); Master of Science in Nursing (MSN); Master of Science in Special Education; and Master of Arts in Criminal Justice.
To be eligible for a tuition-free course, students should complete the Single Scholarship Application and indicate they plan to enroll in an accelerated graduate program. Be sure to talk with your advisor about pursuing an accelerated graduate program.
Examples of courses that students could take in Spring 2024 include:
- MHA 638
- ECON 610
- NURS 638
- MBA 651
- SPED 526 or 601
The scholarship funding is available for Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 courses only. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come basis, so students are encouraged to complete the scholarship application by the priority deadline of Dec. 15.
