MSUM Native American Student Needs Survey

Minnesota State University Moorhead, on behalf of funds awarded by the Dille Fund for Excellence, hope to learn how to better support Native American students at Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) by implementing a survey. The survey is designed to examine current MSUM Native American students’ perceptions of attending higher education, determine existing best practices, and identify ways that MSUM can offer additional support for students who identify as Native American.

This is a student survey for current MSUM students who identify as Native American.  It will be an opportunity for Native American students to share their experiences with others to help the community learn more about their experiences in higher education and better determine ways to provide support at MSUM.  Completion of the survey is expected to take approximately 20 minutes.

Student participation is important to this process. Our goal is 100 percent participation to ensure that every Native student’s voice is heard.  The survey closes November 15, so if you haven’t shared this opportunity with your Native American students at MSUM, please do so today!

Student responses will remain anonymous, and they will be redirected to a separate link at the completion of their survey to enter in a drawing for one of twenty possible $25 Walmart gift cards.

We will draw gift card winners on Friday, November 17.

If you have any questions, please contact the Research Project Principal Investigator, Dr. Caitlin Johnson (caitlin.johnson@mnstate.edu).
