Leadership & Learning faculty member presents at the Peralta Equity conference

Leadership and Learning faculty member Kristen Carlson attended and presented at the Peralta Equity Conference April 26-28, 2023. Dr. Carlson presented a session “Perceptions of Power Dynamics in Education” describing the preliminary results from a phenomenological study of perceptions of current K-12 educators around power dynamics found within the classroom, the roles of teachers and students, and how the use of constructivism may support teacher-student relations.
