Social Security 101 Webinar

There will be a free Social Security 101 webinar available to all interested Minnesota State employees and their spouses on April 12 from 4-5 p.m. This webinar has been coordinated by Minnesota State, the Social Security Administration and TIAA. The main speaker will be Rhonda Whitenack, Public Affairs Specialist with the Social Security Administration.

Topics include:

  • When are you eligible to receive retirement benefits?
  • How does early retirement affect your benefits?
  • Do you qualify for disability, survivors, and spouse benefits?
  • How do you get the most from your benefit?
  • What is the future of Social Security?
  • When should you file for Medicare?
