School Psychology students, faculty and alumni at MN School Psychology conference
Graduate students and faculty from the MSUM School Psychology program had a big impact on the 2023 Minnesota School Psychology Association MidWinter statewide conference January 26 and 27 in Plymouth, MN.
The conference provided professional development and networking for more than 400 participants from across the state and region. Twelve School Psychology graduate students attended in person and an additional four students attended virtually. Several students also volunteered at the conference and helped make it a success. Faculty Josh Johnson and Lisa Stewart also attended in person.
Dr. Stewart is on the MSPA board and helped organize the conference – she also presented a session with Dr. Kim Gibbons from the UofM on “Improving Reading Outcomes: Implementing the Science of Reading”. Many Dragon alumni attended the conference and five alumni presented sessions at the conference.
