Affordable Resources for LASC Courses
The Library seeks probationary and tenured faculty to develop affordable LASC course resources made available to students in Spring 2024.
Affordable Resources for LASC Courses is a pilot project partially funded by an Innovation Grant from Minnesota State and as part of a partnership with The Office of Online Learning. Writers are incentivized with EDDS, academic and technical support, and feedback from MSUM BIPOC students on the use of culturally inclusive content. Faculty may co-write and share EDDs.
Affordable course resources, commonly known as open education resources (OERs), reduce student financial load, are available on the first day of class, and allow for continual improvement. Authors retain full copyright but must license their work for open access.
