Lynx Lynx Duo to perform and host a masterclass at MSUM
Lynx Lynx Duo, a Norwegian-Swedish folk music duo, will be performing and hosting a Hardanger fiddle masterclass at MSUM on Tuesday, September 13.
The Scandinavian duo Vidar Skrede and Patrik Ahlberg join forces to bring original and traditional Nordic fiddle tunes to the Midwest. Ahlberg is a multi-instrumentalist from Sweden. He regularly plays and performs music from both the United States and Sweden. Vidar is a leading musician on the Nordic folk music scene and is well known for his own tune creations across the scene; played and recorded by many artists besides himself.
The Hardanger fiddle masterclass is free admission at 5 p.m. in the MSUM Fox Recital Hall. The performance requires tickets and will take place in the MSUM Weld Hall Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
