Frontline Worker Pay Application Deadline July 22nd 2022

As you may have heard, Governor Walz has signed a bill that will allow a stipend to be paid to Frontline Workers employed in the State of MN during the COVID-19 pandemic. Higher education has been determined to be a frontline sector for purposes of this bill. To determine if you qualify for this stipend, you will be required to submit an application to the State of MN at: https://frontlinepay.mn.gov/submit. The application is open now through July 22nd, 2022.

General eligibility requirements:

    Must have been employed at least 120 hours in Minnesota in one or more frontline sectors between March 15, 2020 and June 30, 2021.
    For hours worked during that time period, the applicant was not able to telework due to the nature of their work and worked in close proximity to people outside their household.
    Must meet income requirements for at least one of the 2020 or 2021 tax years.
    Did not collect more than 20 total weeks of unemployment benefits between March 15, 2020 and June 26, 2021.
