Make Music at MSUM on June 21
Come make music with us at MSUM as part of a worldwide sonic celebration – International Make Music Day!
Whether your idea of performing is drumming on your desktop or singing in front of thousands, we welcome you to our 2nd annual Make Music Day celebration on Tuesday, June 21. The event is free and open to the public. Join us on the campus mall (Or if things get rainy, we will move our tunes to the Roland Dille Center for the Arts.)
At 2:15 p.m. MSUM joins in on the International Music Day by exploring the rhythms of Samba. Dr. Kenyon Williams is the director of MSUM’s “Fuego Tropical” world music ensemble and will teach everyone, young and old, how to play joyous music as a community.
We hope to see you there!
