Volunteers Still Needed for Woodlands and High Plains Powwow – Saturday, April 2
Volunteers are still needed for the annual Woodlands and High Plains Powwow to be held on Saturday, April 2, in the Memorial Auditorium, Concordia College campus.
Concordia College will host the 31st annual celebration of the Woodlands and High Plains Powwow in partnership with Minnesota State Community & Technical College-Moorhead, Minnesota State University Moorhead, North Dakota State University, and North Dakota State College of Science. This year’s theme is “Generational Resilience.”
A powwow is a celebration of community and a social gathering. In addition, this powwow celebrates the educational experiences of American Indian students in higher education and the sharing of tribal cultures in the FM area.
To make this year’s powwow a success, we need volunteers in a variety of areas. If you are available to help, please sign up on the Woodlands and High Plains Powwow Volunteer website: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c4eabaf2cabfac25-whpp.
