Special Physics Seminar by SAC Keynote Speaker

Please join us Thursday, April 28 at 3 p.m. for a special seminar by Dr. Heather Cegla, who was the keynote speaker at the Student Academic Conference a few weeks ago. Dr. Cegla, who graduated from MUSM in 2010 and is currently an assistant professor at the University of Warwick, will be giving an overview of techniques for detecting Earth-like planets around other stars. The title of the presentation is “Exoplanet detection in the era of extreme precision radial velocities.”
