MSUM students attend National Association for Business Economics Annual Policy Conference in Washington, D.C.
MSUM students (Jonas Baune, Demi-Lee Carlisle, Emmanuel Kumi, Mason McCord, Blake Roberts, Bradon Schlaefer, Precious Umunna, Seth Vestal, and Tomas Zamba) attended the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) Annual Policy Conference in Washington, DC from March 20-22nd, 2022. The conference, “Policy Options for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth,” included presentations by Jerome Powell, Chair, Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, Raphael Bostic, President and CEO, Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, Cecilia Rouse, Chair, President’s Council of Economic Advisers, and other thought leaders representing private industry, government, and academia. MSUM students met with employers to learn about emerging career opportunities in business economics and public policy. The Economic Society student organization, which organized the experience, appreciates the financial support received from the Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee and MSUM Economics program alumni.
