Save the Date: Brainstorming Lunch & Learn – Student Absence Policies – March 30 & March 31

The Faculty Development Center and the Faculty Development Committee are launching a new opportunity with a focus on faculty to be able to brainstorm, discuss, and problem-solve current issues in today’s classroom environment. We are still in the ideation stage regarding topics, and are looking for help from you! The focus is on faculty getting together to discuss topics that are important to the current classroom environment, sharing what is working and not working, and coming up with potential solutions and best practices, in an informal, safe environment.

These sessions will be held over the noon hour with the ability to bring your lunch and meet with colleagues. For the in person sessions, soda and cookies provided. We are going to try to offer each brainstorming session twice – once in person in the Faculty Development Center and once via Zoom. We will run this series from the last week of March until the end of April.

Please submit topics regarding classroom teaching that would be a great idea for faculty to sit down and discuss to Brittney Goodman at brittney.goodman@mnstate.edu.

The first session will be:
