Creating a Student-Centered Grade Book in D2L

The grade book in D2L Brightspace can be a very effective tool for communication between instructors and students. There are, however, a few times when it can create barriers to communication instead.  Which parts of the D2L gradebook present obstacles to clear, effective communication with students? We’ll talk about some guidelines for creating a student-centered gradebook and how to avoid some of the more challenging aspects of D2L that can sometimes get in the way of this goal.
