Join the Office of Diversity & Inclusion for the Power in Diversity Conference Viewing Party

Join the Office of Diversity & Inclusion for the viewing of St. Cloud State University’s 13th annual Power in Diversity Leadership Conference on Friday, January 28, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday, January 29, from 12-2 p.m. in the Intercultural Center (CMU 121).

The theme, Emerging from the Pandemic: Resilience and Reinvention is focused around hope and the future despite the challenges that we have been through and may remain. The Power in Diversity Leadership Conference provides a space for exploration and facilitation of these discussions; has been vital to the personal growth and leadership skill development of college students of color and underrepresented students over the past decade; and is an opportunity to heal and grow individually and as well as collectively.

Students are expressing the desire to look forward and plan a future that acknowledges adjusted and reinvented personal and professional goals, aspirations, and priorities. These realities have shaped this year’s theme, Emerging from the Pandemic: Resilience and Reinvention. In response to some of the questions students are asking, “what’s next?” and “how do we move forward?” the Power in Diversity Leadership Conference will address these questions and more through the lens of leadership, career planning and preparation, community, social justice and self-care.

Registration for the conference is FREE. Learn more by visiting https://www.stcloudstate.edu/powerindiversity/default.aspx.

For virtual attendees, Zoom links will be on the website Friday, January 28. Only the keynotes and workshops will be available via Zoom, not conference activities. Please register to attend and join the conversations. Let’s reinvent our futures!
