Grant Writer & Administrator Candidate Meet & Greet

I am delighted to announce the four candidates for the Grant Writer and Administrator position.   Given the nature and past practice with MAPE positions including the Grant Writer and Administrator position, there will not be open forums for these candidates.  However, the campus community is invited to attend an informal 30-minute Meet and Greet session with each candidate.  The dates and zoom links for you to meet and greet with each candidate are provided below.  There will also be an opportunity for you to provide feedback through a Qualtrics survey if you so choose after you meet with each candidate.  I greatly appreciate your participation in the search process.

Janelle Brandon:  Interview date 1/31/22

Ms. Janelle Brandon currently serves as the Manager for the Lifestyle Medicine Referral Center in Sanford Wellness and Lifestyle Medicine.  Prior to her current position, she served as the Manager for the Sanford Women’s Community Programs from 2016-2019 and as an instructor for the Sanford Women’s Programs from 2015-2016.  She also has experience as the Marketing Director at the Lake Agassiz Regional Library from 2008 to 2013.  She earned her B.A in Theatre Arts at University of Minnesota.

Meet and Greet Information for Janelle Brandon:

 

Kaelene Arvidson-Hicks:  Interview date 2/1/22

Ms. Kaelene Arvidson-Hicks currently serves as the Director of Grants and Special Projects at South Central College in Mankato, Minnesota.  Prior to her current position, she served as the Title IX Coordinator and HR Compliance at St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota from 2018-2020.  From 2016-2017, Ms. Arvidson-Hicks served as the Director of Human Resources in the Superior School District in Superior, Wisconsin.   She also worked as the Grant and Research Administrator at University of Wisconsin-Superior in Superior, Wisconsin from 2010-2016.  Additional experiences she has include a Women’s Health Consultant and Project Management.  She earned her B.S in Sociology/Anthropology from Bethel University, St. Paul, Minnesota and her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law.

Ryan Zemek:  Interview date 2/2/22

Mr. Ryan Zemek served as the Executive Director in 2021, as the Economic Development Director from 2014-2021, and as the Development Specialist from 2008-2013 at the Headwaters Regional Development Commission in Bemidji, Minnesota.  He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Bemidji State University.

Luvina Beckley:  Interview date 2/3/22

Ms. Luvina Beckley currently serves as the Executive Grants and Business Growth Analyst at the M.H.M. & Associates Enterprise.  M.H.M. & Associates Enterprise is one of the grant writing firms in the State of California whose staff secure grants.  Ms. Luvina has been doing private consulting on e3p3 Grants development, writing, resource development, and small business relevancy for the last 25 years at the current firm she is working.  She earned her B.S. in Business (Economics) from University of Nevada, Reno and her MHSA with an emphasis in Public Administration at California State University San Bernardino.
