Open Air Open House
Thursday, September 17 | 4-6 p.m. | Campus Mall
Join the Women’s Center and Rainbow Dragon Center as we move our annual Open House outdoors! We’ll gather across the Campus Mall, with plenty of room to practice physical distancing, to enjoy music, information tables from campus and community partners, and enter drawings to win prizes.
We’ll also usher in the Women’s Center’s 30th anniversary! To celebrate, we’re giving away 15 copies of Mikki Kendall’s book “Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women that a Movement Forgot” (2020). Plus, we want to know why the Women’s Center is important to YOU! WC staff will come around during the event to ask and will post short responses on Facebook live @MSUMWomensCenter.
Campus and community members are welcome. Grab a blanket and space out a dragon’s tail (6 feet) apart on the Campus Mall. Masks or face coverings are required.
