Honoring Constitution Day

Constitution Day is Thursday, Sept. 17. Minnesota State University Moorhead will honor this important day with events and displays in the Livingston Lord Library. You can celebrate Constitution Day by:

• Checking out the display in the Library for Civic Engagement Month with free pocket Constitutions from the Government Printing Office and information on voting.

• Visiting the library research guide on Civic Engagement and Constitution Day at https://libguides.mnstate.edu/civicengagement.

• Stopping by the Library to see the Suffragette cutouts (on loan from the Clay County Historical Society) and viewing Voting Rights Timeline created by Dana Bisignani and students from the Women’s Center. (The cutouts are of Fargo-Moorhead women who were active in the suffrage movement, which resulted in the passage of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution.)

• Following MSUM on social media and share posts promoting Constitution Day (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram)
