Kohoutek publishes essay in literary journal
MSUM staff member Karen Joan Kohoutek has published an essay in the peer-reviewed literary journal “The Dark Man: Journal of Robert E. Howard and Pulp Studies” (volume 11.1). The essay, “More Than Meets the Eye,” focuses on the female protagonists found in several of Howard’s Conan the Barbarian stories. In addition to being a technician at the Livingston Lord Library, Kohoutek is also an alumni of MSUM’s MFA in Creative Writing program.
