Apply for a passport on campus

Do you need a passport? You can apply for one on campus on Thursday, November 21 between 10 AM and 1 PM in the Flora Frick seating area. The Office of Study Abroad and the Moorhead Post Office partner to create a one-stop shop so you can get your application completed easily and conveniently.
You’ll need to bring the following: a state-issued photo ID, a certified copy of your birth certificate, a check or money order written out to the US State Department for $110, cash/check/money order to USPS for $35, and $5 cash/check for your passport photos. Passports take about 3-6 weeks to be processed, so this is a great time to order for those going abroad later in the spring or next summer. For people over age 18, passports are valid for 10 years. It’s a great idea to order it now so you’re ready for any opportunity abroad that comes your way.
