Tonia Jo has a unique perspective on life as a Native American, specifically for women. Not only is she funny; she is also a professional jingle dress dancer and a voting rights advocate. She is well-known and respected in the community for her work and positive representation of Native American Heritage.

In 2011, Tonia began producing Youtube videos as a means to “reach out to my people; teach them to smile, think positively, and spread laughter.” She graduated from Sitting Bull College in Fort Yates, North Dakota with her BA degree in 2014. Tonia is Lakota/Dakota/Hidatsa, a mother of two, and she’s been pursuing comedy full-time since 2014. Tonia brought her comedy to the stage in 2011. Since then, she’s been busy producing videos, motivational speaking, doing stand-up comedy at various casinos, celebrations, and events throughout the U.S. and Canada.
