Dalan, Holley attend International Conference on Archaeological Prospection
Rinita Dalan and George Holley (Anthropology and Earth Science) will attend the 13th International Conference on Archaeological Prospection from August 28 to September 1 in Sligo, Ireland. This conference focuses on current global approaches to archaeological geophysics and remote sensing. Dalan will present a paper co-authored by Holley and others (The Origins of the West Plaza Rise at the Poverty Point World Heritage Site, Louisiana, USA by Rinita Dalan, Diana Greenlee, Michael L. Hargrave, R. Berle Clay, Thurman Allen, and George Holley). Dalan is also co-author on a second paper (Geophysical Evidence for the Timing, Pace, and Complexity of Construction at the Poverty Point World Heritage Site, Louisiana, USA by Michael Hargrave, R. Berle Clay, Diana Greenlee, and Rinita Dalan), will chair a session on Processing and Visualization of Data, and served on conference’s Scientific Committee.
