Faculty attended Council on Undergraduate Research Conference last month
Lisa Nawrot (Psy), Sumali Pandey (Bio) and Donna Stockrahm (Bio) attended the CUR Undergraduate Research Programs conference June 27-29 at the Ohio State University.
You might know CUR from its signature student programs — Posters on the Hill and NCUR, the National Conference on Undergraduate Research. But there are more resources and events for both faculty and students. CUR divisions include arts and humanities, biology, chemistry, education, engineering, geosciences, health sciences, mathematics and computer science, physics and astronomy, psychology, and social sciences. And because MSUM has institutional membership, individual faculty can join for free!
There are a wide variety of member-exclusive benefits including publications like the SPUR and CUR journals, networking and mentoring, an online community and job board, an assessment toolkit, advocacy toolkit, and legislative alerts, reduced conference fees, and travel awards.
For more information or to activate your free individual CUR membership, visit www.cur.org.
