First ever Virtual Reality for Educators Conference exceeds expectations

MSUM, in partnership with Bytespeed, welcomed over 50 educators from across five states to campus to participate in a two-day certification course about the power of virtual reality in education. The course was led by world-class VR educator Corrine Hoisington, who has taught virtual reality for companies like Microsoft, Captial One and Cengage.

This course, however, was the first in the world to certify teachers in VR. Participants called it “brilliant” and “mind-blowing.” As an emerging leader in virtual reality education, MSUM is excited to bring more of these and opportunities to our campus and community.
