WGS Colloquium: ‘Tackling Goliath: How Students Won and Why I Archived It’

Friday, March 29 | 11:45 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Women’s Center (Bridges 154)

This month, Women’s Center Coordinator Dana Bisignani will give a talk about her four-year long student activist campaign, which succeeded in establishing a rape crisis center at Purdue University, and why she archived materials from the campaign following its success. Before the campaign, Purdue had been the only Big 10 university not to have a crisis center. The activist-won center opened in Fall 2016.

Please join us in the Women’s Center (Bridges 154) at 11:45 a.m. for light refreshments, followed by Dana’s talk from 12-1 p.m. There will be time for Q and A.
