MSUM students, faculty present at national science conference
MSUM students and a faculty member in Geosciences and Archeology from the Department of Anthropology and Earth Sciences attended and presented a poster at the Annual Meeting of the Geological Society of America that took place in Indianapolis, IN from November 4-7. David Ahumada, Emily Hartwig, and Dominic Mugavaro presented a poster on the evolution of landscape and the implications for ancient indigenous people in the region including the MSUM Regional Science Center in the Showcase of Undergraduate Research Posters. They were accompanied by their research mentor and faculty member Karl Leonard.
A former student in our department, Aishat Olowoshile, presented a poster in the same session based on work that she did at Stanford University last summer.
