Minnesota Out! Campus Conference
October 26-28
M State and MSUM are excited to host the 2018 Minnesota Out! Campus Conference (MOCC) from October 26-28, 2018. MOCC is an annual conference hosted on a different campus in Minnesota each year, designed for students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community members from Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and the surrounding areas to discuss issues facing lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex , asexual, and two spirit persons (LGBTQIA2S+) on college and university campuses and in the greater community. Our goal for the 2018 conference is to connect, empower, and inspire our students within the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
The conference will feature keynote speakers, workshops covering a variety of topics, identity forums, evening entertainment, and more. Registration is free for students. Register by October 5 to receive a free t-shirt and swag bag: https://mnoutcampusconference.wordpress.com/registration/
Students, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome to submit a workshop proposal. The deadline for proposal submissions is October 5, 2018. Workshops can take a variety of formats, including discussions or panel presentations.
