Dr. Kim honored with Junior Faculty Scholarship Award at Midwest Academy of Management Conference
Wooyang Kim, Assistant Professor of Marketing at Paseka School of Business, received the Midwest Academy of Management Junior Faculty Scholarship Award among young faculty members at the 61st Midwest Academy of Management Annual Conference, St Louis, MO: Oct. 11-13, 2018. This scholarship is awarded to the junior faculty who are in the early career in the academia and highly impacts the broader academic community including research and service to the academic society.
For over three years at MSUM, Dr. Kim has honored the High-Citation Impact Award in the elite marketing journal (2016), Best Track Paper in the sports marketing track with MSUM student (Drew Sannes: BBA ’16 and MBA ’18) at the marketing conference (2017), and Best Conference Paper with MSUM student (Kelly La Venture: MBA ’17) at the tourism and hospitality conference (2018). He has also been contributed the academic societies as a reviewer and conference organizing board member at the marketing and management journals and conferences.
Along with this award, Dr. Kim presented his research paper entitled “The Relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behaviors Perceived by Customers and the Consequences of These Behaviors: A Test of an Integrative Path Model.” He also served as a session chair and discussant in the Organization Behavior Track at the same conference this year.
