Take Back the Night #MMIWG

Thursday, Sept. 20 | 5-9 p.m. | CMU Ballroom

Join the campus community for our annual Take Back the Night BBQ and Rally on Thursday, Sept. 20. This year’s event centers Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (#MMIWG) and seeks to raise awareness of cases like that of Savanna LaFontaine-Greywind.

Join us in the CMU Ballroom starting at 5 p.m. for a BBQ, and stay to hear Lissa Yellowbird Chase and others speak at the rally. If weather allows, we’ll then march to W.H. Davy Memorial Park in Moorhead, where Buffalo River Drum Group will perform, followed by a survivor open mic.

(In case of rain, we’ll remain in the CMU Ballroom for all events.)
