Academic appointments announced

Marsha Weber, Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs, is pleased to make the following announcements:

• Dr. Lisa Karch began her duties as Interim Dean of Graduate and Online Learning on July 1. The Graduate Studies office is now located in the Center for Business 115. The Online Learning staff continues to be located in the Library. We began the search for the Director of Online Learning last week and hope to have the position filled by mid-September.
• Pam McGee has been appointed the Interim Assistant Vice President for Academic Innovation and Engagement. She began her duties on August 16 and her office is located in Owens 206.
• Dr. Ellen Fagerstrom has been appointed the Special Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. She will begin her duties on August 21.
• The Center for Engaged Learning opened in Hagen 103 this summer. The center is the home for Community Outreach, Honors, Undergraduate Research, and Service Learning. Dr. Lisa Nawrot has been appointed the Interim Director of the Center.
