MSUM Alumni Artists Win Awards
Artists Jon Offutt, Brad Bachmeier, and Steve Nowatzki, all MSUM alumni, won three of the four prestigious awards presented at the College Hill Art Festival in June. The 40-year-old festival is at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, and has been named to Sunshine Artist magazine’s list of ‘100 Best Fine Arts & Design Shows’ in the United States for nearly the last decade.
Offutt is a Fargo glassblower, Bachmeier is a Fargo potter and professor of art education at MSUM, and Nowatski is a printmaker in Minneapolis.
