School Psychology faculty and students present, volunteer at ND MTSS conference
Eleven School Psychology graduate students volunteered and attended the ND MultiTiered Systems of Support conference on June 11, 12 and 13, 2018.
Dr Lisa Stewart presented on “Accommodations, Modifications and Interventions: Untangling Terms and Clarifying Roles,” Dr. Mary Dosch presented on “Beyond Math Computation: Tier 2 Evidence Based Interventions Addressing Mathematical Thinking and Word Problems” and Dr. Stewart, student Grant Fodness, school psychology alum Sarah How, and local educator Jessice Rieniets presented “Academic Progress Monitoring Tools: Untangling the Acronyms, Tools and Reports.”
Dr. Stewart also serves on the conference planning committee for this statewide conference with over 380 educators attending. Dr. Potter also attended the conference. This year the conference theme was “Expanding Your Systems of Support” with keynote speakers and sessions addressing academic, behavioral, and social/emotional tiered support in schools.
