Kara Gravley-Stack has accepted the position of MSUM Dean of Students. Kara comes to MSUM with twenty-seven years of professional experience in higher education with progressive levels of responsibility.
Kara earned her M.S. in Counseling and Student Affairs at MSUM and her Ph.D. from NDSU in Philosophy with an emphasis in Institutional Analysis. Kara has extensive experience in the areas of student life, residence live, diversity and inclusion, global outreach and Title IX. She also has many experiences teaching and training inside and outside the classroom.
“Kara did an excellent job articulating how her values and experiences align with MSUM’s mission and core values of Grit, Humility and Heart,” said Brenda Amenson-Hill, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. “She is excited to begin her new role on June 13, 2018.”
