Park, Benson present papers at Comparative and International Education Society Meeting

Two faculty members from the School of Teaching and Learning presented papers at the Comparative and International Education Society Meeting (CIES) held in Mexico City during the last week of March in 2018. Reina Sungok Park presented a paper on her research in South Korea and the United States entitled, “A Follow-Up Qualitative Study of South Korean Early Childhood Educators’ Multicultural Teaching Competence”, while John Benson gave a paper on his research in Tanzania and the United States entitled, “”Understanding and Comparing the Tanzanian and American Educational Systems through the Biographies of Individual Teachers.” More than 3,200 people attended the conference from 117 different countries.
