After a national search, Annie Wood has been named the Associate Director for Student Life at MSUM. Serving as the Director of Community Programs at Emerging Prairie and lead organizer for TEDxFargo, Annie brings a proven record of creating strong collaborative partnerships and leading project teams to accomplish big outcomes. Throughout the search process, Annie shared a strong commitment to MSUM’s purpose and core values. She is committed to creating a comprehensive strategic vision for student life that supports student retention and success.
Annie shared the following regarding this opportunity. “I am delighted to be joining the team at MSUM. While living and working in the Moorhead-Fargo community, I have paid attention to MSUM’s strategic anchors and values, and how the university community lives these out each day. The demonstrated commitment to students, the university, and the world shows me that MSUM is a unique campus that will relentlessly serve students and aim to do what is right for them. From my own collegiate experiences, I know full well the power of a transformative educational experience, and I am honored by the opportunity to contribute to the next phase of MSUM’s student life programs. Student life can add depth, meaningful connections, fond memories, and learning opportunities for our students (and also be quite a lot of fun!). MSUM is a very special campus community — something you all already know — and I am excited to contribute my time, my talents, and my expertise as I join the team and commit to serve Dragons for many years to come.”
Annie’s first day will be May 16.
