Brad Bachmeier’s ceramic work featured in national juried exhibit in Las Vegas, NV. Professor Brad Bachmeier’s wheel-thrown and saggar-fired ceramic work entitled “Geomorphic Companions” was juried into the “Naked and Refined Show” at Clay Arts Vegas Gallery. Sherry Lee Short, Professor in the School of Art, has been named as an Alice Paul Award Honoree. The Alice Paul Award is an historic list of women who have worked to end men’s violence against women in the United States. The Award was generated by the Feminist History Committee of the National Organization for Men Against Sexism.
Leah Oien, a senior majoring in both Gerontology and Social Work, has been awarded a Gerald Bloedow Scholarship from the Minnesota Gerontological Society.
