MSUM expects 485 students to graduate Dec. 14

Thursday, Dec. 14 | 1 p.m. | Nemzek Fieldhouse

Minnesota State University Moorhead will award degrees to about 485 students during its fall commencement program Thursday, Dec. 14 in the university’s Nemzek Fieldhouse.

The 1 p.m. ceremony also includes nearly 120 graduate students.

Alumnus Mark Knutson, with degrees in Business Administration and Finance, will be the commencement speaker. Knutson’s work background includes positions in finance, business management/ownership, and mergers and acquisitions. However, his true passion is fitness and endurance sports. He started the Fargo Marathon in 2005, and later left the corporate world to become the full-time director of that event and to start Go Far Events.

Parking will be open in all university lots on commencement day. Driving directions to campus are located at http://www.mnstate.edu/admissions/drivingdirections.aspx.

For those who can’t attend commencement, it will be streamed live online at https://www.mnstate.edu/registrar/graduation/.
