Software Carpentry is coming to MSUM, Oct. 27-28. The Software Carpentry workshops are built around relevant, modern, open-source tutorials that could serve as meaningful drop-in units for many courses where a touch of computer automation could reduce the drudgery of data processing. 4 workshops on Unix, Python, and Git will be offered. Priority is faculty, but students and staff are welcome to register. The workshops may fill quickly, so register soon!
