Request your Spring 2018 D2L Brightspace Course Shells

Beginning Wednesday, October 18 instructors can request their Spring 2018 course shells using the D2L Brightspace Request Form (https://my.mnstate.edu/ITS/Forms/RequestD2LShell).

IMPORTANT NOTES: 

• Spring 18 shells can be requested October 18-December 19. On December 20, all unrequested fall sections will be created as single section course shells.
• The Domain for D2L Brightspace will change from mnstate.ims.mnscu.edu to mnstate.learn.minnstate.edu on December 27.
  • Faculty “CAN” copy courses into their spring 18 shells as soon as the shells are ready.
  • Faculty “SHOULD NOT” setup/create external integrations (Cengage, McGraw Hill, Pearson, Wiley Plus, etc.) within a spring course until after the domain change is completed on December 27.

COMPLETING THE REQUEST FORM:

You will be required to use your StarID and password to log into the D2L Brightspace Request Form (https://my.mnstate.edu/ITS/Forms/RequestD2LShell).

Due to FERPA you are able to request and/or merge only those sections where you are listed as the instructor of record.
