The campus community is invited to a WebEx meeting with the Office of the Chancellor regarding green-related grant opportunities as part of ARRA (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) [federal stimulus]. It will be held Tuesday, April 14 from 10-11:30 a.m. in Weld 11. (WebEx) [The face-to-face meeting at the Office of Chancellor will continue until 2:30 p.m. if anyone wants to attend in person. It will not be available via WebEx.]
Please RSVP to Lori Wallace—wallacel@mnstate.edu or 218.477.2461—to reserve your space.
On March 20, the Office of the Chancellor held a systemwide WebEx meeting on green-related funding opportunities associated with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Attendees at that session requested that the Office of the Chancellor organize a full-day, in-person meeting for administrators and faculty (a) to learn more about green-related ARRA funding opportunities and (b) to network with colleagues interested in pursuing and potentially partnering on related projects.
We will offer this all-day session on Tuesday, April 14 from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Office of the Chancellor in conference room 3304/3306. A morning session, from 10 a.m. to approximately 11:30 a.m., will consist of presentations and will be offered by WebEx for those who wish to participate remotely. The second half of the meeting will be designed for small-group discussions for purposes of networking and partnership building and will not be available through WebEx. A written summary of findings from the small-group discussions will be made available on the system’s stimulus website (www.stimulus.project.mnscu.edu) following the meeting.
