Financial Management Association wins three prestigious awards

Qualifies as nationwide superior chapter

The Minnesota State University Moorhead Financial Management Association (FMA) chapter recently received three prestigious awards from Financial Management Association International.

The MSUM FMA chapter qualified as a superior chapter for its programming and activities last year. The award goes to less than 10 percent of chapters in the country.

Joe Tjosvold, FMA president for 2016-2017, was named one of six nationwide FMA Collegiate Fellows for exemplary leadership and service.

MSUM FMA advisor Tom Hanson was named a Superior Faculty Advisor, an award that goes to only five honorees nationwide.

MSUM was the only chapter in the country to win all three awards this year, and perhaps one of the only to do so in the past 20 years.

Congratulations to all!
