Increased athletic fundraising leads to more success for Dragons, InForum: “Early in his tenure as Minnesota State Moorhead athletic director, Doug Peters thought something as simple as a new coat of paint was significant. That was nearly decade ago, and was one of the first steps to freshen up Alex Nemzek Stadium after Peters took over the athletic department.”
Two local runners lead Dragons men into Division II national meet, InForum: “Brady Speicher and Josh Young almost always train together, so it’s fitting the Minnesota State Moorhead runners won’t be separated at the national meet either. The MSUM juniors both qualified for the Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the men’s 1,500 meters.”
Young earns All-American honors for Dragon track and field, InForum: “Minnesota State Moorhead junior Josh Young finished seventh in the 1,500 meters to earn All-American First Team honors on Saturday, May 27 at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships at IMG Academy.”
