College for Kids & Teens awarded Lake Region Arts Council grant

MSUM College for Kids & Teens has been awarded $9,550 in grant support from Lake Region Arts Council (LRAC) for Summer 2017. This is the sixth year in a row that the program has applied for and been awarded money from LRAC to support their K-12 courses in the arts.

The $9,550 will be used to support need-based scholarships for K-12 students that want to attend MSUM College for Kids & Teens Arts courses. Examples of courses that students could take include: Science and Art of Making Soap, Clay and Toy Animation, Peculiar Painting, Water Wonder World, Dare to Design, Kids and Clay and many more. 

With the support of Lake Region Arts Council – This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
