Win a Dragon red Audi A3 for a year from Valley Imports on Feb. 3 at Fill the Fieldhouse
Dragons fans should be accustomed to massive prize contests every year by now and this year is no different. Here’s a breakdown of what MSUM Dragon Athletics and Valley Imports have done over the last several years:
- 2010-11: Car Contest – After contestants didn’t win the new car, Valley Imports gave away a 1-year lease on a new Volkswagen Jetta
- 2011-12: Vacation Giveaway – We gave away a dream vacation for two to Jamaica
- 2012-13: Season of Cash – Winner took home $4,500 in cash
- 2013-14: U-Turn & Win – A strategic shoot-turn-shoot game turned up short despite 11 attempts, so we raced mini-Mercedes Benz cars for $1,000 cash
- 2014-15: Variety Show – We tried everything…6 different car contests came up empty handed, but we did give away guaranteed win prizes like a TV, scooter, iPad, and even $1,000 cash again
- 2015-16: 3 Free Cars for a Year! – We gave away a car for a year at Opening Day, Basketball Opener, and a pick your car for two years at the sell-out Fill the Fieldhouse
You can see how it just snowballed to try to top the year before…so for the 2016-17 season we had such a huge success with car contests last year that we wanted to bring it back, but we had to up our game right? How about a chance to win a Dragon red 2017 Audi A3 for a year! Someone will win the hot rod at Fill the Fieldhouse on Friday, Feb. 3, during the basketball double-header against Winona State University at 6 p.m. and 8 p,m. How can you win? Great question.
How to Qualify
During halftime of the women’s game on Feb. 3, 30 contestants will face-off to narrow the pool down to a final four who will again compete at halftime of the men’s game on the same night to determine the winner of the A3 for a year. Qualifiers will be chosen in two ways.
- The top five points earners in each of the following categories on the #FiredUp Fan Zone Rewards App (Presented by Valley Imports) on Jan. 23: Students, Faculty/Staff, Alumni, Fans, and Undeclared.
- Five contestants will be picked at random before halftime of the women’s game from the list of checked-in individuals on the #FiredUp Fan Zone Rewards App.
So, come to everything and get to the top of the list OR show up the day of the contest and check-in for your chance to win an Audi A3 for a year from Valley Imports.
Qualifiers cannot be employees, interns, or volunteers of MSUM Dragon Athletics. Must be present to win at halftime of both men’s and women’s games.
