Scorch Squad

Minnesota State University Moorhead athletics has started an all-new kids club called “Scorch Squad” on campus for all kids 12 and under.

With the membership, kids receive a variety of items. They will receive a t-shirt that is exclusive to Scorch Squad members and kids will also receive a Scorch Squad lunch box. Upon registration, kids will get an Erbert & Gerbert’s kids meal voucher and a Scorch Squad Membership ID card. When kids show up to other MSUM home athletic events, they can simply show their membership card and receive another free Erbert & Gerbert’s kids meal.

Members also have a chance to present the game ball, be a floor sweeper, or participate in the Scorch Squad member’s only media timeout during home games. During home volleyball and basketball games, members will have their own corner where they can draw, color and shoot hoops on the mini basketball hoops that will be set up.

Also on Dec. 30, there will be a Scorch Squad Kids Night game with women’s basketball at 6 p.m. and men’s basketball at 8 p.m. Membership is $20 and parents can sign their kids up online at msumdragons.com/scorchsquad or there will be a registration table at all MSUM volleyball, football, and basketball home games.
